Port Cask Reserve

Bushmills Steamship Port Cask Reserve is the second edition in its travel retail-exclusive Steamship Collection, launched to mark the 125th anniversary of the SS Bushmills steamship's maiden voyage. Each year, the best seasoned ruby port pipes are selected from the craftsmen of Douro Valley in Portugal - a region renowned for its premium port production. The pipes are then emptied , shipped back to teh Old Bushmills Distillery and filled wiht our triple-distilled Bushmills Single Malt Irish Whiskey. During maturation residual flavours of intesne dark fruit are drawn from deep within the wood. The result is a premium-aged Single Malt Irish whiskey matured in ruby port pipes to lend flavours of damsons, almonds and black coffee, with a rich, complex and smooth finish.
